The active employees who read this or that you (Joe) communicate with must know how encouraging all the news is about Ford. I have met people who never gave a hoot about the car/truck business who now comment how Ford is the leader in the American resurgence. The financial foresight exhibited prior to the crash that saved Ford from taking a government bailout is extraordinary. Rattner's article in Fortune bluntly states how bad off GM and Chrysler were in terms of their finances and their financial management.
The ground level managers at Ford, assuming they are the ones that want to stay, MUST communicate how bright the future at Ford can be. Sure, the multiple reorganizations hurt but I believe the future is incredibly bright. Stop whining and get on it!!
